GM Recalls Nearly 300,000 Chevrolet HHR VehiclesBeginning in November, GM is recalling 296,422 MY 2006-2008 Chevrolet HHR vehicles due to failed compliance with head-impact protection requirements set by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201. Apparently the door on one of the vehicle's storage bins fails to remain closed which could lead to injury. Therefore, the carmaker is making available a redesigned latch.
